Use SUNRATE to request card payments from others.
With SUNRATE's Payment Request function, you can quickly generate a payment request link and send it to your payer. The payer can complete small payments easily within minutes using a credit card or debit card.
Create a payment link
1. Start creating
Select Collection Service — Payment Request, before clicking Create a request in the top right corner.
2. Fill in request information
Enter the request details, payer information, and product details. After confirming that all information provided is correct, click Save and Submit.
*The currency and amount entered in the request will exactly match the currency and amount credited to your account.
3. Obtain and send the payment link
When the request is successfully created, you can Copy Link and send it to your payer.
*Please note that this link does not support multiple users making payments simultaneously.
Payer's payment process
Once the payer opens the link, they will need to fill in the required information and click Next Step after confirming all details.
On the payment page, the payer should enter his/her card information, before clicking Pay.
*Currently, only Mastercard is supported.
*Payers from specific regions can pay in their local currency; otherwise, payments will default to USD. For details, please refer to the FAQs.
View Payment Records
When the payer successfully completes the payment, the order status will be updated to "Paid”.
You can view successful settlements under Transaction History — Payment Request.
FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
1. How long does it take for collections to settle?
Payment Request are settled in real-time. After the payer successfully completes the payment, 80% of the total amount (after deducting transaction fees) will be credited to your account on the next working day. The remaining 20% will be credited after a designated holding period.
2. How many requests can I create per day, and what is the maximum amount per request?
You can create up to 10 requests per day. The maximum amount for each is 500 USD.
3. Which regions support local currency payments?
Payers in the following regions can complete transactions in their local currencies: the United States (USD), Europe (EUR), the United Kingdom (GBP), Hong Kong SAR (HKD), Japan (JPY), Australia (AUD), Canada (CAD), Singapore (SGD), Brazil (BRL), Mexico (MXN), Colombia (COP), South Africa (ZAR), Kenya (KES), Nigeria (NGN), Indonesia (IDR), the Philippines (PHP), Malaysia (MYR) and Vietnam (VND).
